Americas Best Value Inn

Our room was cleaned really well. When I checked out, though, the manager said he couldn't return my deposit because I didn't have the yellow slip of paper they gave me when I got the room. I assume I must have thrown it away.

MY CAR WAS HIT IN THE PARKING LOT! I called to ask about the footage, and she said it was so bad you couldn't even tell if a car had been there. So someone could come into the lot, hurt you, steal from you, or, as happened to me, hit your car, and nothing would be done. I told her I'd leave a review, and she replied, “you can do whatever you feel like you need to do….”

I was in room 111 and paid $143. The room and linen were filthy, honestly disgusting, and I couldn't sleep. The AC was broken, so it was hot inside. I'd rather sleep in my car, and I don't recommend this place to anyone.

The room was comfortable, with a clean tub, laminate wood floor, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, Wi-Fi, charging outlets, and a decent heating and cooling system. The motel is moderately sized, with adequate parking and cameras, and there's not much interaction. Staff at the desk were accommodating and the housekeepers competent. Some minor renovation work looks fairly recent and is patched correctly, ready for completion. It's easy to reach the hospital and many amenities, though it's on a busy road. Guests were generally unobtrusive. In a convenient first-floor room, though, you'll hear children stomping upstairs and luggage bumping along the stairs. A leaf blower was going outside our door around 6 a.m., though we weren't sleeping well anyway. Breakfast options included coffee, packaged muffins, and protein bars. Remember that taxes need to be added to the listed prices.
