I’m here for a softball tournament, and the room is filthy even though the place looks clean. There was an old cup and other trash left behind, and the bathroom door won’t stay shut. On Friday evening, the front desk woman didn’t greet us and immediately argued with me about giving my room away. I’m checking out today. I’m a corporate travel agent, and this place needs a major overhaul. The city inspector should come take a look.

The carpet smelled awful, and the bedding had a strong odor that made me wonder if it had been washed properly. When I pulled back the sheets, I found a huge stain on the mattress. I was extremely uncomfortable and disappointed. No one should have to sleep in a room that feels this dirty and unsanitary. The hotel needs to replace the mattresses, deep-clean the carpets, and wash its linens properly. I wouldn’t recommend staying until those problems are addressed.

The road noise was loud enough that I wouldn’t suggest this place to light sleepers. Breakfast was pretty limited, just apples, bran flakes, waffles, and Little Debbie cakes. Staff were nice, and the room and bed were clean. The tub had been patched and really needed replacing, as did the shower. The water turned cold quickly, then got hot again, which was strange.

The room was spacious, and coffee was always available, which I appreciated. Breakfast was decent too. The location worked well for me, right by I-75 and 19 minutes from the airport.

A nice pool and a good price. I just didn’t like that the pool hours ended at sundown, as I was told.
