Super 8 by Wyndham Gainesville

The room was cute, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was about what you'd expect for the price. But the A/C barely worked for most of the night, so we were sweating, including our sweet baby, and there was a lot of noise. I kept checking out the window because I was worried. At one point I thought someone was stealing my car, with another car parked behind it in the middle of the lot and its trunk open. We expect to return to the area often for family, but after this poor stay we'll need to find somewhere else.

A big, very clean room in a convenient spot. It had a microwave, refrigerator, work and dining table, armchair, and a comfortable bed. Towels were clean, the shower was great, and there was hot water. There was also a jacuzzi, though I didn't use it. I recommend it!

This is a nice, low-key hotel. It turned out much better than I expected from some of the reviews and photos. I'd recommend it to family and friends.

The morning crew was very nice, though the evening staff were rude. My first room had no working A/C. I reported it right away, and the front desk guy came to look and told me to wait two hours. It still wasn't working, so my kids and I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The A/C in the new room worked, but there were a couple of flying ants. When I told the front desk, he said it was because it had been raining. The room wasn't the cleanest either.
