The food was amazing, and our waitress made the meal even better. She was so friendly and attentive, and kept making sure we had what we needed.

The front desk staff were gracious and professional, and my room was clean, comfortable, and as quiet as you can expect in the city. The hotel is a bit older, though, and has a few mystery smells. One elevator was pretty pungent, and the main hallway on my floor was kind of funky.

The pool was very clean and stayed open late, and the hotel felt welcoming and family friendly. Staff were especially kind to my toddler. We also enjoyed breakfast as a whole family, including my toddler, and found it reasonably priced even though we didn’t have a breakfast rate. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly, and fresh cookies at check-in were a nice touch.

After a long trip and a horrible experience at another hotel that same night, we arrived here and met Timothy, the front desk manager. He was kind, professional, courteous, and personable, a real breath of fresh air after the night we’d had. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay wonderful. The room was very clean, too. This was probably one of our best hotel experiences, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Every staff member here goes out of their way to make me feel welcome. Carlota even makes sure I have coffee and a great breakfast in the morning. I travel to DC regularly for work and pay for the commute myself, and this DoubleTree is the best price for me, with free parking, a nice gym, and a lobby restaurant with great food. The people who work here are what make it amazing. They treat everyone so kindly.
