I asked the owner about the negative reviews and learned the motel is under new ownership. They said the previous owner hadn’t looked after the property. From my stay, the new owners seem to be doing a much better job keeping it nice. The rooms were clean, and the prices were affordable. I’d recommend Cajun Inn Motel if you need somewhere to stay in the area.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rate was very reasonable. For a small motel, it was just right. If you only need a room with a TV, micro fridge, and microwave, it’s awesome. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re trying to save a few bucks.

At sunrise, the view of the water, boats, and local pelicans is amazing. For the lovely price of &%$55%& per night, that’s a real plus. This is my second stay, and I really can’t complain. Cajun Inn is great for a small motel, very clean though aged, and the Mr & Mrs at the window are very pleasant. I’ll stay here whenever I’m overnight for work.

The bathroom had a strobe light that was not too appeasing after my 4th seizure. Honestly, if you adore air conditioning and a small ice box, it’s worth the price. The place feels like somewhere out of a fictional horror movie if you just want a place to sleep.

I was eaten up by bed bugs, and the retiring owners’ friends witnessed it. The prices were jacked up too. This place is a hell hole, all I can say. Spend 5 dollars more and drive a little further.
