Candlewood Suites Cut Off by IHG

I checked everything before settling in, and was happy with the clean bathroom and kitchenette, fresh bedding, and comfortable bed. Even the comforter was freshly washed. The gym and laundry area were clean and nice too. We stayed here while my husband took classes for offshore requirements. There are three hotels in a row that all look about the same, and none has a pool. I picked this one because reviews said it was clean, and they were right. I don't like staying in hotels, but this one put me at ease. The front desk staff were nice and had delicious cookies. My only complaint is that the hand sanitizer dispensers around the hotel weren't full.

Tiffany and Kim made Candlewood feel welcoming, like I was part of the family. The hotel was so clean, and there were fresh cookies at the front desk. They were always ready to help or chat, and I could listen to their awesome accents all day. Five stars from me. Thank you, Tiffany and Kim. Y'all definitely deserve a raise!

The shared cabinet with appliances, grill gear, games, and tools was a great feature, and the staff were flexible about what we needed for our room. Over more than a year, this place became our home away from home. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and responsive. Our room was cleaned thoroughly, and maintenance requests were handled quickly. Manager Tiffany made us feel welcome and at home, and helped keep us safe during hurricane Beryl. Thanks for everything. I'd stay again and recommend it to anyone in the area.

We’ve stayed here before and will be back. This time the king suite gave us lots of room, including a big walking area, fully stocked kitchenette, and large desk. Most of it was very clean, though there were two small misses with a towel and the floor near the bath. The bed felt quite firm to me, but my husband was comfortable. Staff have always been friendly and courteous. Another good stay at this Candlewood Suite.
