Four Seasons Inn

I’m in town for work pretty often and was glad to have another hotel to try. I normally stay at just one other place here, and this one costs more than that hotel down the street, which has always suited me. Parking right by the room is handy, the location is good, and the staff are polite and professional. The place is neat and clean. But the rooms are missing microwaves, desks, and enough outlets. They do have coffee makers and refrigerators, and there’s a microwave in the lobby, but after a long workday I don’t want to walk back and forth at 1 a.m. just to heat food and save a little money. The lot’s layout also makes it tough if you’re bringing a large work truck. At check-in they warn that setting off the very sensitive smoke detector could mean a $500 charge if you open the bathroom door before shower steam has cleared. Breakfast is limited to coffee, milk, juice, water, and Little Debbie snacks, with no hot food or bagels. Some guests may also find the TV choices disappointing. There are good things here, but with so few amenities, I don’t think the price makes sense when stronger competition is so close. As they recover their opening costs, they might add amenities and lower rates if they can. They should also look for a way to fit work vehicles without giving up much of the nice front lawn. Contractors unable to park could cost them a lot of business. It’s a nice hotel, but I’ll go back to my usual one unless useful changes are made.
