Economy Motel

The manager and his wife were friendly, nice, and accommodating, and the price was very fair. Still, the room felt cold in temperature and appearance, even with the heat on. The curtain wouldn't close all the way, so we felt watched the whole time. We actually were: people coming and going from the lobby of the motel next door could see right into our room through that one window.

I only visited a friend who was staying at the Economy Motel, then drove to Atlantic City, about 13 minutes away. It's in a convenient spot just outside the city, and the rates are very cheap. The basic motel room was a little spacious and had a mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and a small kitchen area with a counter and sink. I'd stay here myself.

I was visiting my in-laws in New Jersey and checked in here because it was the closest motel. The bathroom smelled awful, and the toilet had been left covered in feces. Cockroaches were crawling on the floor, there were bed bugs and obvious fiberglass sticking out of the beds, and the ceilings were covered in black mold. I got out as fast as I could and spent the night in my car.

I was visiting my parents, who live at the Economy Motel, and went across the street to help a friend. The manager cursed me out, called me ignorant and rude, and told me to get off the property over that visit.
