City Inn

I’ve stayed here a few times over the past year and haven’t had any problems. The property is clean and quiet, the staff are kind, and the price is great. I’d recommend City Inn for either a short or long stay. Thanks to all the staff.

The views were pretty spectacular for a little kick chick from Wisconsin, and we really couldn’t beat the location. We stayed for three weeks, and the front desk staff were polite and professional. The rooms were clean when we arrived, though we cleaned them ourselves. The cleaning staff didn’t speak English. I worked from the hotel, but the WiFi wasn’t good enough for work, so I used a portable WiFi box instead. On the morning we checked out, my daughter woke with six little bumps on her shoulder. If that had happened the first night, I’d have been sure it was bed bugs. Since it was the last night of 21 days, and the only incident among two rooms and five people, I’m not certain. I’d return for leisure, with caution, but not for work. Four out of five.

Chris and Christina were great, and the staff were really chill. My room was clean and very comfortable, and for the price and location I was pleased. Lots of food and store options nearby. I’ll be back or recommend the place. Chris really keeps moving, always doing something productive outside while still making reservations. Thanks to both of you!

We booked two nights but left after only a few hours. The room was dirty and smelled foul, especially the bedding. I didn’t want to know what was on the chairs or what the white substance under the bed was. There was just one simple lock on the handle, with no deadbolt, chain, or other secondary lock, and anyone with a master key could open it. The room was advertised as non-smoking, but smelled strongly of smoke, and the bathroom window had been left open, seemingly to air it out. I woke up swollen and having trouble breathing from an allergic reaction to the cigarette smoke, and the problem was completely disregarded. I spoke with front desk employees by phone and someone by text several times, repeatedly asked to speak with a manager, and was refused. They ghosted me over text and refused a refund. I don’t recommend this place.
