Highlander Motor Inn Atlantic City

It's in a handy spot, close to lots of things and to Atlantic City. You can also get there directly by bus if you're commuting without a car, and the stop is on the corner. The owner was sweet and really attentive. We had accidentally booked a smoking room, but since we're non-smokers she switched us to a non-smoking one. Whenever we needed something, she was friendly and offered to help.

People were partying in the parking lot all night, blasting music, drinking, and doing drugs, so there was no way to sleep. I left, gave up the money I'd paid, and found another motel. This place isn't worth a dime and should be shut down. Don't bring kids here. It might suit someone looking to party in a parking lot, but that's about it.

The staff were really nice when we needed towels and another room key, and it was quiet overall. The heat and AC worked great, the shower was roomy with plenty of shelf space, and the towels were clean. For the nightly price, the room was about what we expected, though it needed vacuuming and the bathroom could've been cleaned better. The bedding had stains, so we brought our own quilt and pillows. We didn't see any bed bugs or roaches. It's only 15 minutes from AC and a lot cheaper than staying there. I'd stay again, 10/10. It's smoker friendly. One tip: DO NOT GO TO DENNYS!

Everything was so cheap, and I'd definitely stay again. The sheets, pillows, and towels were clean and smelled fresh. The woman at the front desk was very sweet and let me check in early for free. I'd driven 13 hours and arrived at 9 a.m., even though check-in wasn't until 3. Don't judge a book by its cover!
