Liberty Inn Atlantic City

The owner was nice, which was why I wanted to give at least two stars, but the motel is very low quality. My non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, one towel had a cigarette burn, the bathroom door was warped, and the outlet by the bed was broken. The worst problem was the ill-fitting door. In the attached picture, there's a gap between the door and frame, so the latch and deadbolt don't go properly into the frame. That would make it much easier for someone to kick the door in. The main thing this motel has going for it is the price.

Anthony was kind and professional, and all the staff were kind and attentive. The common areas were very clean, and staying here was a great experience. I left behind something valuable, and Anthony kindly worked with me to send it back. He reassured me he'd look after it until I could arrange to pick it up. Customer service here gets 20/10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I paid $220 for two nights, and this was the worst place I've stayed, despite having tried motels all along Black Horse Pike and White Horse Pike over more than 25 years in Atlantic City. Never go to room 106. The people upstairs were banging loudly, babies were crying, and we could hear everything. I almost got into it with the front desk guy just for asking for clean towels. The couch looked like a couple of people had died on it, and the light on the wall near the Jacuzzi didn't work. I'm moving out of Jersey in less than three weeks, and I feel sorry for people misled by the reviews. Anyone praising this place must have mental issues or something. I've stayed in bad places, but this was the worst.

I've stayed at several motels along the white horse pike, about 15 minutes outside AC, since they're much more affordable than the city casino hotels. Liberty Inn is the only one I'll pick now. Anthony, the owner/manager, is extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms are spacious, the beds clean and comfortable, and monthly pest control means no critters. At a few other WHP motels I've unfortunately found them and had to leave during my stay. Wawa is right across the street, Denny's is within walking distance, and some rooms have a CLEAN!! Jacuzzi tub. There are smoking and non-smoking rooms, plus carpeted and non-carpeted ones. I don't smoke, and once accidentally booked a smoking room, but was happy to find it smelled clean and I couldn't tell previous smokers had stayed there. I have a weird carpet phobia because of cleanliness, so I like to get a non-carpeted room. Overall, I'd give this a 6 out of 5 stars!
