Rodeway Inn & Suites Williamsburg

The rooms are decent, clean, and have a bit of an old-school feel. The man at the front desk stood out most. I don’t know if he’s the manager, owner, or something else, but he was extremely helpful and assertive. I felt very safe there. I didn’t see any riffraff, and I got the sense that he wouldn’t put up with it. This is the first place I’ve given five stars, and for good reason.

The suite had plenty of space for our family of five. We’d booked a two-queen suite and were surprised to find two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The bedrooms and bathroom were downstairs, while upstairs had a living room and kitchen. There was a sofa bed, three single chairs, a desk and chair, a table with four chairs, a full-size refrigerator, and lots of cabinets. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Breakfast was a hit with the kids: muffins, donuts, oatmeal packets, fruit, cereal, great coffee, and bagels. The property is centrally located, about 10-20 minutes from most attractions and tourist spots. Staff were great, always ready to answer questions with a smile. Thanks so much. We’ll definitely return if we’re in the area.

The service has been great, with friendly, helpful staff, and our suite is very nice, clean, and cozy. The furniture looks nice and isn’t outdated. Our only issue is that we’re traveling with our 80-year-old grandmother, and we didn’t realize the bedrooms and the only bathroom were downstairs. Otherwise, we’re very happy with the suite.

The pool is great, the staff are friendly, and it’s close to every convenience. We’re so glad we found this place. The room was very clean and comfortable, the nicest budget motel I’ve stayed in. A fan in the room would’ve been nice, but the air conditioning kept it cool, so I can’t complain. Thanks for a great stay. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends.
