Best Western Plus Gallup Inn & Suites

The shower was really nice, with strong water pressure, a good shower head, and a handheld sprayer. The food was good and offered a nice range, and the staff were friendly. Everything was clean, with what looked like new carpet, and there wasn’t that smoke smell you get in so many places. It may be the best hotel around here. Next time we’ll remember our swimsuits so we can use the indoor pool and spa.

We travel a lot and had stayed in several hotels over the previous few nights, but this was the friendliest and cleanest by far. Breakfast had a fantastic range of food, and it all tasted great. We’ll definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone we know coming to Gallup. Five times two stars!

This was our third visit, and it’s still a favorite. The pool and hot tub were clean and working, and breakfast was a hit again. This time there were premade breakfast sandwiches, and the salsa Verde was so good. Great coffee machines with espresso and snacks too. The rooms are spacious, and the bed, linens, and towels were fresh and crisp. I finally found a BW where you can buy the pillows, lol. A+++ and no issues so far.

We were passing through with family on our way to OKC, using this BW Plus as a halfway stop on both the outbound and return drives. It’s a few minutes from I-40, near several fast food places, with plenty of parking. The property seemed fairly new, and it was clean and well lit inside. The problem was our room type. I booked in April 2025, requesting a ground-floor room with a sofa bed, but on the first night they said it had been given away and offered another room upstairs. On the way home, the room we’d reserved was again unavailable, even though I’d checked in through the app and reminded them about the sofa bed. Luckily an ADA junior king suite was open. I paid just $9 to upgrade, and after ten hours on the road the extra space was welcome. The stay was good overall, but I don’t understand why rooms weren’t held when we’d booked months ahead.
