Motel 6 Gallup, NM

There was hair everywhere, including the bed sheets, pillows, comforter, floors, and even the supposedly clean bath towels. The comforter had pet hair, and there were different hairs on the sheets. The room hadn't been cleaned at all. I felt bad for reception because she was overwhelmed. I filled out a customer satisfaction survey and never heard back, so I'm posting here. I was exhausted and should have left. It definitely wasn't cleaned by "Angie " 10 days earlier.

The man who checked me in was kind and professional, but I wouldn't stay here again. I booked an ADA room through the Motel 6 app, and it didn't look like the online pictures. It was meant to have a large accessible bathtub, but instead there was a dirty walk-in shower that was somewhat falling apart. The room itself was okay: the TV, fridge, microwave, and heating and A/C all worked. Hot water was inconsistent and only got warm. Housekeeping knocked and tried the door about three seconds later, then called out, "Sorry!" WiFi was surprisingly bad, cutting out every five minutes and making me sign in again. Mobile reception was spotty too, for some reason. Maybe it's the leaded paint on the walls.

The service was excellent, and everyone was friendly and helpful. It's dog friendly and very convenient off I-40. The room was passable for what we paid, though it was heavily perfumed with air freshener.

Nice shower, and the front desk staff were pleasant. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was comfortable too.
