The Gambier House Bed and Breakfast

Betsy made our getaway feel special. She’s a gracious, engaging innkeeper, and my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in The Green Room. Gambier House is a charming B and B, clean and neat as a pin throughout. Breakfasts are wonderful, especially the signature French Toast. The central location makes it easy to plan short day trips, and it was a delightful break from big city life. I’m looking forward to visiting again!

There’s a lot of history at this attractive bed and breakfast, much of it displayed on the walls, and it’s close to everything Gambier has to offer. My husband and I had a lovely stay. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful, our accommodations were lovely, and the hostess was warm and kind. Breakfast was good, with good company too. We enjoyed our time here. Thanks for making us feel so welcome. :)

I was considering a stay here, but the outside looked terribly neglected. The shutters were falling off, the paint was chipping, the curtains and windows were stained, and the porch looked crooked and unsafe. It seems like it could be a quaint place to stay, but it needs major renovation and updates to be acceptable. Kenyon is a beautiful campus, and this place is an eyesore!

The breakfast was superb, and the place is charming, quiet, quaint, clean, and comfortable, with friendly people and good beds. It’s within walking distance of everything Gambier has to offer. There wasn’t much available for early risers, though, and the bathroom was tiny. The sink was clogged too.
