Atalaya Towers

We had such a nice Christmas and New Year at Atalaya. The staff were friendly, our room was just what I’d hoped for, and the beachside location was lovely. We also enjoyed unwinding by the pool and hot tub. Andrea, who handled the communication before our stay, was especially helpful. With a big family traveling for the holidays, we wanted to make a holiday meal. She explained what dishes we could expect and sent lots of information, all in one place, so I could get prepared ahead of time. Her communication was wonderful. Thanks, Atalaya, for being part of such a memorable holiday!

We’re already planning to return for Labor Day week. With the beach right there, a gorgeous view, and a location that isn’t too busy, this place is hard to beat for a big family. You can take the elevator straight down to the beach. We came for spring break with our three kids, and they loved spending almost every evening in the indoor pool since the weather was a little cool. Our unit was clean, fairly updated, and had what we needed to cook meals. It’s one of the nicer Capital Vacations places I’ve stayed in, at least in terms of the room. The welcome email says they don’t supply coffee, but they don’t provide salt or pepper either, so bring those. The complex feels more like an apartment building than a resort, as they say, with just a basic indoor and outdoor pool and not many extra amenities. We don’t need fancy resort features when the beach is so close, but if those matter to you, this may not be the right spot. Every unit has an amazing view, and the beach proximity is unbeatable.

The views are breathtaking, and shopping is close by, including Costco and Trader Joes. The condo itself is roomy and well equipped. Everyone on staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Andrea and Mark deserve a special mention for making our stay extra special. One thing to know: local rules don’t allow canopies or large umbrellas. Check the municipality’s ordinances for details.

The view at night is spectacular, and getting to the beach is practically effortless. There’s a lifeguard stand right in front of the towers. Our family had a lovely stay, and the staff were friendly and happy to help with whatever we needed. Jason was especially helpful when we left an item behind. He made sure it was found and is being returned, and I really appreciate that. We also met some wonderful people, including some who’ve vacationed there for years and had nothing but good things to say about Atalaya. We’ll definitely come back, and we’re already trying to choose dates for our next trip.
