We had a reservation, and they emailed all the details, including a reservation number. But when my wife arrived, they told her it had been cancelled, with no warning by email, phone, or text. They were extremely rude, even though it was our fault. It was a horrible experience. I called InTown customer service, but they couldn’t help and said I’d have to wait until Monday to contact the hotel directly. I called, but nobody answered. I also filled out the customer contact forms and still haven’t heard back. The whole thing was a disaster. I’d give zero stars if I could. I’ve stayed in many hotels all over the world and never had such a bad experience. They have no respect for customers. Unacceptable!
The noise went on until midnight or 1 a.m. every night, and the room never had reliable AC. It stopped working on Saturday, but the night maintenance person said nothing could be done until Monday and he couldn't move me. I went to the office Monday morning and found they hadn't passed along the problem. They gave me another unit, which ran for a few hours before quitting too. I'd give this place negative five stars if I could. I'd have been better off sleeping in my vehicle.
We've been here for a month and haven't seen a housekeeper or had a chance to change the sheets. When I asked the office for a set so I could do it myself, they said the housekeeper was out and I'd have to wait until Wednesday. For what they charge, not being able to get clean sheets is ridiculous.
I finally had a clean room and bed to sleep in because Annie took care of it, even though the manager kept telling her not to. She stayed past the end of her shift to make sure it was done. They need more housekeepers like her.
It felt like a little studio, and I was comfortable there for almost two years. The place was quiet and peaceful, and my room was clean and smelled lovely when I arrived. The young women at the front desk were sweet, and whenever I was carrying groceries in or taking out trash, somebody would offer to help. I moved out last week and I'm really going to miss living at Intown Suites Savannah Extended Stay. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay.
