Hotel Pacific Garden

The room had plenty of space for me as a solo traveler, and check-in was quick and easy. Free parking was convenient, though you’ll need a car to get to a grocery store. The room could use better lighting and more power outlets. Breakfast is free, but the continental options didn’t meet my expectations. I’d like to see a wider range of food.

A big plus was the free parking, and getting to nearby places to eat was easy. The airport was about 10-15 minutes away. The building has two stories and no elevator, and there’s a snack machine for munchies. My room had a mini fridge but no microwave. The beds were good, and the rooms were clean, though outdated like most hotels these days. Breakfast was just waffles, coffee, and juice, so it could use more choices.

It’s an old hotel, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable, and I thought it was good value. Breakfast could be improved. They could at least add eggs or Greek yogurt for some protein.

The staff were super sweet, which is definitely why I gave the place the three stars I did. The courtyard is really pretty, and there’s a cool supermarket, restaurants, and some shops within walking distance. The rooms are really run down, though, and the beds are uncomfortable. They only pay the maids per room, so they don’t get paid if you’re staying a week and only have them clean once. They aren’t paid every day like they should be, and I didn’t like that.
