Sugar Creek Retreat

There’s no TV, but that didn’t bother me. The free WiFi let me watch Netflix on my iPad, and they also provide continental breakfast, coffee, tea and afternoon snacks. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I’ve stayed several times because it’s a convenient base near Pea Ridge National Military Park, Blue Springs Heritage Center, Beaver Lake and Eureka Springs. Sugar Creek Retreat sits by a natural stream, just a few miles from Beaver Lake. It’s a lovely place to disconnect and enjoy nature, with a gazebo, fire pit, picnic table and gardens where guests can relax.

I wanted a real break from life, somewhere to rest, relax and disconnect. At The Sugar Creek Retreat, I found beautiful, relaxing creek surroundings, and I could just sit by the water. There are tourist spots nearby if you want things to do. It’s a place for families or couples, with games available, and the staff were friendly and made sure I had what I needed. There’s free WiFi, too. I wanted to stay and never leave. Thank you, J & Jeff, for making my stay restful and relaxing. I’ll be back!

It’s a beautiful, quiet setting in a great spot between Bentonville and Eureka springs. The service was excellent and breakfast was good. Since it was my girlfriend’s birthday, the owner also offered us a bottle of wine.

If you want hustle and bustle, this probably isn’t the place. But for a chance to get lost and find yourself, it’s lovely. The service made an even bigger impression than the room. I’ve never felt more welcome at a motel. The little place was wonderful, with clean rooms and very comfortable beds.
