My Place gave me an amazing stay, thanks especially to Manager Herb and front desk associate Krissy. Herb was professional and attentive, and it was clear he cared about making guests comfortable. Krissy handled every request kindly and efficiently, always with a great attitude. Everything I needed was taken care of without hesitation. That kind of service is rare and much appreciated. I'd absolutely come back and recommend this location.

The room itself was clean, and this place was affordable and close to home, which is why it seemed right for a low-key moms' night out. But we won't return. When we got to the third floor, the room we'd been assigned was already occupied, with food stacked in the kitchen. The front desk clerk seemed shocked and said the people weren't supposed to be there, then we had to go back for another key. It left me wondering how anyone got access and whether rooms are checked or cleaned daily. Check-in was also a little awkward: we rang the bell to get attention, and the clerk wasn't especially welcoming or clear about policies. A dog barked in the hall, too, though I don't know whether the hotel is advertised as dog friendly. There was no smoke alarm, just wires hanging from the ceiling. The kitchen had no dishes, cups, or utensils, and the TV needed unplugging once or twice to work properly. Bring your own water, since even the little shop downstairs had none for sale.

I checked out on 12/27/25 after four days, and I left very disappointed. I stayed in two different rooms, and neither bathroom was clean. I was told housekeeping comes every two days, but management said it was every four. The shower curtains weren't changed. One room had a strong pet urine smell as soon as I walked in, and the carpet was full of pet hair. I also saw what seemed like people living there, possibly addicts or something. The cleaning seemed to amount to making beds, taking out trash, opening shades, and replacing towels. The vacuum in the hallway looked like a cheap $45 one, dirty and wet, and I doubt it picked anything up. I used 10 packs of disinfectant wipes and two cans of spray that I bought myself. If you don't mind filthy bathrooms, splattered toilets, dirty tubs and microwaves, this place may suit you. Don't be fooled by the outside, bring cleaning supplies. Before that, I had called and spoken with a nice young woman who answered all my questions about the rates. Mariah, I think, was nice at check-in and moved me right away after putting me in a room that someone else had used and hadn't cleaned. The new room looked okay at first, but the fridge had syrup and old residue in it, and the toilet was covered in hair and grime. Its seat was down, and there was red stuff on the side. The base around the knobs was dusty and stained, and I found other spots I had to wipe myself. I used three wipes on the toilet and still couldn't get it clean, so I called the desk. Housekeeping came up, seemed annoyed, and offered another room. I'd already disinfected most of this one and didn't want to start over. I asked her to just clean the bathroom; she took photos of what was left on the toilet, and I showed her the wipes in the trash. She also saw and cleaned the dirty fridge. The floor hadn't been vacuumed either. I let her leave because her attitude was off. She said she was the housekeeping supervisor, and I felt she should have been upset with her team, not me. The women at the desk were very nice. Prices are great and it's a nice-looking place, but housekeeping is my only issue. They'd only been open around five months and the place already seemed to be going downhill. I don't know yet if I'd stay again.

The main issue in room 224 was the noise. The hallway door slammed whenever someone came up the stairs, and the people above us sounded like they were stampeding in the middle of the night. Aside from that, I loved the hotel. Brianna at the front desk was amazing, and both the place and the service were really nice.
