The staff were welcoming and helpful, greeting me whenever they saw me. Breakfast had a good range of choices, too. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel was affordable. I also appreciated that the card hold for the deposit was a reasonable $30. I had a really good stay and would come back.

The service was excellent and friendly, and the hotel met our needs well. The room felt a little crowded, and it gets noisy on weekends. Breakfast was free, though the setup seemed oddly disorganized. The coffee in the room was much better.

The front rooms get flooded with parking lot lights all night, and there are no curtains you can close. The decorative panels at the sides of the window don’t block the light. We used a binder clip we happened to have to pull them together, which kept out about 80 percent. Staff weren’t helpful with a fix, though they said another guest had complained the night before. We were only there one night while traveling across country, but guests should be able to sleep without outside light pouring in. The owners should know the blinds and lack of proper curtains are a poor choice. The property seems recently remodeled. The staff were friendly, check-in and checkout were easy, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and breakfast was good. Even so, the light problem earns this place a single star.

The breakfast was wonderful, with bacon, eggs, waffles, cereal, juices, and more. The dining room and counters were spotless, and the women working there were really nice. Our room was spacious and clean, but there were no blackout curtains, and we weren’t sure if someone could see in. Like other guests, we pulled the decorative side drapes together and pinned them. After traveling for 24 hours from Europe, I was exhausted. I put up the Do Not Disturb sign after breakfast and planned to nap until the 11am checkout. At 10am, housekeeping knocked and tried to enter, though we had the latch on. I woke from a deep sleep furious. I complained to a maid, who said it wasn’t her room, then to the front desk woman, who listened with a sympathetic smile. This would have been a five-star stay, but that ruined it. Comfort Suites, please teach your maids to read the sign.
