The bugs were the last straw. My granddaughter spotted them crawling near the microwave, so we left the room immediately. The place already seemed a little sketchy when we arrived after a long drive, but I was exhausted and decided to give it a chance. The room looked worn out, with holes in the bedding and a broken showerhead. When I checked under the sheets, the mattress covers were brown instead of white. I also got the impression some people lived there, since a few rooms still had decorations from past holidays. After we checked out, the office refused to refund my credit card despite a heated conversation. I was furious. I even have pictures of the bugs, and I won't stay anywhere again without checking reviews first. Disgusting place.

We stayed there from February 1 to October 23 and were sorry to leave once we found a place of our own. It was a really nice place. After I had a stroke in April, the staff helped move us from our upstairs room to one on the first floor. We appreciated their kindness and professionalism.

The showers swung from scalding hot to freezing, and traffic from I-85 was loud. The room wasn't clean, and the blankets had holes. When I asked the desk for toilet paper, they said they were out until the next day and told me to buy some if I needed it. The following day they still had none and again sent me out to buy it myself. Staff were rude and no help. Terrible hotel.

Don't stay here. The prices aren't what they claim, and they'll lie about your kids. Pets aren't allowed, including emotional support animals.

The people there were great and really helpful. It's a private, affordable place with easy access to I-85, plus plenty of fast food spots and convenience stores nearby when you need something to eat.
