Alex is an experienced bartender and made tasty drinks. I went to the lounge bar for the Wednesday Smash burger special and would definitely recommend it. The cozy, relaxing atmosphere was nice for a midweek dinner. The portion was good: two smashed burgers together in a brioche bun, with plenty of tomato, pickle, mixed lettuce leaves, red onion, and cheese, plus seasoned fries. Kudos to the kitchen staff. Five-star experience.

I got married there 20 years ago, and I still think about how wonderful it all was. The town and facility are beautiful, and everything they did was amazing. Thank you to the Herrington and Deanne, who still works there. I love that. World class excellence.

I was only there to deliver a mobile bar/DJ Booth to the banquet hall, but the room was beautiful. It has an elegant feel as soon as you walk in. Right off the river, with outdoor seating, it’s a lovely place for a wedding or another memorable event.

I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but I did visit the spa for a deep tissue massage. I wouldn’t recommend that service. It seems geared more toward a frilly spa experience. The therapist didn’t listen to which areas I wanted worked on or increase the pressure when I asked. Not every therapist is like that, but at this price they should cater to the client’s request. If you’re after relaxation, it’s fine. For more therapeutic care, I’d go somewhere that specializes in massage.

The little details made our stay feel so thoughtful: the fireplace was already on, the bathroom floors were heated, and cookies came with turndown service. Everything was clean and cozy, and it smelled lovely without being fake or perfume-like. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and kind, and you can’t beat having everything you need within walking distance. My husband and I had an incredible stay. 10/10, would recommend. It was lovely!
