Super 8 by Wyndham Quartzsite AZ

The shower had great water pressure, and we could park close to our room. The room itself was fine, though being next to the back door meant hearing people come and go. The bigger issue was the extra $50 charge, $25 for each of our two dogs. We had booked by phone, told the woman about the dogs, confirmed they were welcome, and were quoted a price. We were too tired to leave and find somewhere else, but I should have cancelled. We won't return.

Strong pressure and hot water that stayed steady made the shower a real highlight after a long day. It was easy to adjust the temperature, and the whole shower felt clean and relaxing. I found this hotel much cleaner and better than other high end Brands. Those details made a difference, and I'd stay here again.

My friends stayed at the Hotel during RV Rally and have been sick ever since leaving. They said there was a foul odor and believe it may be mold. Maintenance men had reportedly told Steve the owner many times that the issue needed attention, but he insists on masking the problem. I was blamed for writing a review about mold, though I hadn't written one. So I'm writing this one now.

When we checked out, we accidentally left a large package in the room. I called the front desk the next day, but they denied having it. There's no doubt we left it on the floor in plain sight, so theft by housekeeping staff seems to be the only explanation. That's a serious problem for any hotel and shouldn't be tolerated. We travel extensively worldwide, and this is the first time we've had a theft issue with hotel staff. I absolutely don't recommend staying here. We were there from 1/6/25 - 1/8/25, and the hot water was never sufficient for showers or even shaving. This is a common complaint in reviews, yet they haven't fixed it.
