The Beaches Guest Rooms and Cottages

The room was dated but clean, and the beds were comfortable. Booking and check-in were easy, and the price was reasonable. There was noticeable road noise from Hwy 1, along with sound from adjoining rooms. My main issue was the shower, which only dribbled, and the bathroom smelled earthy and felt a bit like a camp facility. Still, the price was right.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. My family had a great stay, with shops and restaurants nearby and the beach about a mile and a half away.

Amelia made my first time in Maine feel easy. I’m here as a travel nurse, and she was so accommodating and resourceful. She really made the place feel like home. If you’re in the area, you should stay here.

We had a quiet, comfortable night in cabin 2 with our dog while driving from PA to mid coast Maine. It’s easy to reach from the interstate and sits right on 1. There was plenty of room inside and out, plus a screened porch with a table and two chairs and a picnic table outside. The cabin was clean and cute, and the small kitchen had decent supplies, so it would work for a longer visit around Ogunquit or Wells too. We also found a quiet neighborhood about half a block away where our dog could get a good walk. We’d definitely stay again.
