The bathrooms and laundry room were both super clean, and I liked being able to sit on the deck while doing laundry. Staff were around checking on things and always asked how our stay was going. The view was beautiful, but it was very windy when we were there, and it wasn’t peak season. I think I would’ve preferred a more sheltered site, since our dogs were a little freaked out. Still, everything else was top notch.

The roads are fairly smooth and well kept, so walking and biking are good, but you have to watch for speeding cars and golf carts. The posted limit is 5 mph, yet almost everyone seemed to go too fast, including campground staff in golf carts and people towing trailers. Many sites are parallel, close to the roads and each other, and very tight to get into. Most are unlevel, so bring boards and levelers. There are also only a limited number of 50 amp sites. We won’t come back unless the sites improve and the 50 amp service is upgraded. In photo 3, our dog is at the edge of our site.

The area is amazing, with whatever you want to do nearby, and we enjoyed our stay. We were there from 8/11-8/18. Our site was very close to the neighbor’s, though it wasn’t too bad, and the service was good.

The campground was clean and the staff were great. It was raining when we arrived, and our camper didn’t fit the site well at all. The store was closed when I walked over, but Kate was still there and let me in. She found us a much better site and told us to get set up and relax for the night, then come back in the morning to transfer the paperwork. Kate couldn’t have been more helpful. We’re thrilled to be staying here.
