The staff were good, and I came away with a lot of happy memories from staying here. My mom and I spent three years moving between hotels, so being near my school made this place really convenient. There were some bugs, though not too many, and the water was nice and hot. Given that it’s Georgetown, my sense of safety may be a little subjective, but I felt fine hanging around outside, even at 12:30am or later. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The room was comfortable, and the desk staff were very kind and accommodating. I appreciated that the hotel replied to my review within a few hours and was glad for the quick response. I don’t blame the employees for the pool being closed, but it was a real letdown: I’d brought my granddaughter a day early specifically so she could swim, and the website still listed a pool that was permanently closed. We also found a table pushed against the door between our room and the neighboring room, which made me uneasy, and I didn’t feel very safe there. It was an okay place for one night, but we won’t return. We’ll try an Airbnb next time.

The room was never cleaned while we were there, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We had to fix the TV ourselves several times, and there were makeshift repairs around the room. Our key cards needed fixing before we could get back in. They claimed to offer a pool and workout center, too. For all that, it was way overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t be back.

The place felt unsafe the whole time I was alone, which was most of our two-day work trip. There wasn’t a spot for my dog to pee without trash and needles on the ground. I got heckled twice on the way to my car, and there was a steady weed smell from the room above me. The lower-level room in the back building was disgusting: it smelled bad, the linens were stained, and there were marks all over the walls and mattress cover. The door barely shut, and I had to lift it to lock it. I picked this location because it allowed pets, even though the rest of our team was staying next door at Quality. At check-in, the woman wanted to photocopy my driver’s license and credit card. It felt strange having my card details on paper, though fortunately her copier didn’t work. I’d booked a nonrefundable room and was stuck. If I’d had another option, I would’ve demanded a refund. This hotel needs a major renovation. Please beware.

On 12/04/23, I was assigned room 222 and found it filthy. The bed hadn’t been made, there were greasy handprints on the frame, towels were stained, and hair was all over the sink, shower, and floor. When I explained and asked to change rooms, the desk worker didn’t apologize or say anything, just gave me room 218. That one smelled like weed and had wood planks beside the bed. I walked around a little in my white socks and they got filthy. Absolutely terrible, never staying here again!
