Maribeth made us feel so welcome, even though the owners were out of town. She’s the sister of one of them, and treated us wonderfully. The animals were a bonus, and the forty acre lake was peaceful and beautiful. After more than thirty years working in corporate America, this was a much-needed break. We stayed Sept. 22-24, 2022. The rooms were quiet and clean, as were the bathrooms, and we felt safe. Everything we needed was close by. Breakfast was gourmet, especially the French toast, eggs, and breakfast casserole. I’d recommend Queenslake B&B.

The hosts were relaxed and open, and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the view from our room, and the cats were precious, my daughter wanted to take one home. The house sits between two lakes, with views of more than 20 horse pastures. The beautiful land has lots of trails to walk. A thoroughly enjoyable visit for horse lovers.

The rooms are beautiful, the views are pristine, and the events make you want to come back. John and his wife are incredible people, and the huge property and entire private lake are wonderful. You’ll make at least two new friends. Their work for Veterans is awe inspiring, and they even have a veteran living in the house. Thanks for the conversation. Chris from Michigan

Claire and John were amazing and so helpful. My dogs stayed with me in a very comfortable room, and my horse had a beautiful pasture, a great stall, a warm wash rack, and an indoor arena. I spent a week here with them while competing at the Kentucky horse park, just 15 minutes away. Queenslake is awesome, and I can’t wait to return.

This was my first B & B stay, and I’ll come back when I return to Kentucky. The bedroom was spacious and quiet, and Chef Claire’s breakfasts were outstanding in both quality and quantity. The farm was beautiful at sunrise and sunset. Horseback riding and fishing were available, and the staff, guests, and animals were all friendly. It’s the only place to be.
