Georgetown Lodge

The location is so close to Loveland that we don’t have to spend hours sitting in traffic anymore. The rooms feel like home and are cozy for a family. The kids played games in our room and in the great room while we drank coffee and read. We also got to enjoy the hot tub. The desk staff were kind and eager to help, and the place felt peaceful. We had a fantastic breakfast the next morning before going skiing. Such a pleasure.

We came to Georgetown for the pond hockey tournament and had a great weekend at the lodge. The location worked perfectly, and the price was very reasonable. Staff were so welcoming and kind, and they even moved breakfast an hour earlier for players who needed to get to the pond early. We’ll definitely be back next year.

The hot tubs were a welcome treat after time on the mountains, and the lodge is well located for nearby ski areas. Rooms are a little dated, though hopefully you won’t spend too much time in them. Breakfast was simple and nice to have, and there’s a kitchen area with a microwave for reheating leftovers. Guest laundry is another nice option.

We were there at Christmas, and the main office lodge looked really festive with its tree and lights. It’s in a mountain valley, about ten minutes from Idaho Springs, which made it easy to get to our Christmas Eve plans. The lodge was quaint and cute, with a reasonable price and board games, pool, and ping pong available. Hot tubs were clean and hot. A storm had knocked out the main lights, so it was dim after dark, but the low light actually added to the atmosphere. Breakfast included waffles, muffins, Danishes, coffee, juice, and more. There’s also a Dollar General within walking distance.
