Quality Inn Savannah I-95

The room was filthy. The carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in months, and I used a whole pack of Lysol wipes trying to clean the place. I reported it to the front office, but nobody ever followed up. Avoid this place.

We checked out at 4 a.m. and dropped the keys through a slot behind protective screening at the desk. If we’d known what the room was like, we wouldn’t have booked it. We’ve had good stays at other Quality Inns, but this one was by far the worst, and I’d give it negative stars if I could. We were driving back to NC and planned to rest overnight, then leave after breakfast. Instead, we couldn’t bathe the kids because the shower head and tub had so much dirt and lime rust staining. The wall outlets weren’t fitted properly and seemed unsafe, so I was glad I had portable chargers. The so-called closet was just a hole in the wall with partly made shelves, held by two loose screws. There was a rusty safe, but no key for its key lock. The bed springs poked us while we were lying down. While I was unloading the car, another car crept through the lot, looking at every vehicle. When I opened my trunk, it sped up and stopped as if checking what was inside. I couldn’t sleep after that. We didn’t leave because we’d already paid before the booking was confirmed, and my wife and kids were exhausted.

The breakfast was basically just carbs, with no fruit, protein, or eggs, and the place was noisy. The room carpet was filthy too. This place was a dump.

I got bitten on my hands and feet by bedbugs in the bed, and the bites were incredibly itchy. This place is terrible, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
