The beds were seriously comfortable, and the customer service was outstanding. The pool felt pretty cold, but the hot tub was great, and there’s a small gym you can use around the clock. The Wyndham Gettysburg Hotel & Conference Center has a regal, almost presidential feel as soon as you step inside, and the property is beautiful. It’s handy for the highways and historical sites, has those haunted Gettysburg vibes, and offers great value. I’ll be back.

We bring our dogs here whenever we visit Gettysburg since there are pet-friendly rooms, with an extra $25/night per pet. The rooms are clean and very nice. We like the spacious suites, with two separate rooms divided by doors and large bathrooms and showers. There’s also a great movie theater nearby, along with a diner that serves awesome food.

The location is hard to beat, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I’m sure the hotel is cleaner than some others around Gettysburg. But the rooms need an upgrade. The lobby and first-floor amenities look nice, while the rooms are disappointing, especially the old spring mattresses. The linens are thin and worn, and the pillows are flat and terrible. After two nights, I left with significant neck and shoulder pain. Decent place, but don’t expect a comfortable night.

We had a great event here and enjoyed staying overnight. Everything was clean, and the staff were courteous. The downside is that there’s no coffee unless you pay $17.95 for breakfast. Offering complimentary coffee, or even coffee for a separate fee, would go a long way toward keeping guests happy.

The main lobby is especially cool, and our room was beautiful with a comfortable bed. Staff and visitors were nice, and it’s close to the Harley Dealership. A classy hotel east of Gettysburg, and just a great experience all around.
