Walking around town was one of the best parts of our visit. We left the car parked and explored shops, restaurants, historic sites, and monuments on foot. Being so near Cemetery Hill added to the experience, and the inn's historic, slightly haunted feel made it more memorable than a standard hotel. After long sightseeing days, our room was a comfortable, inviting place to unwind. Everything was well maintained and spotless, and the inn stayed surprisingly quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh and filling each morning, a great start before going back out. The staff were welcoming and helpful from arrival. Check-in was quick, they answered our questions readily, and they created a friendly atmosphere throughout the stay. For convenience, comfort, walkability, kind service, and Gettysburg character, this place had it all. We'd happily stay again.

The location was perfect, the rooms were pristine, and breakfast was generous and filling. From booking through checkout, the staff made everything easy and comfortable. They were especially gracious with our 150lb boy dog, welcoming him sincerely. That's no small thing when traveling with a pet, if you know you know. Families and pet owners will feel at home here. Thanks for such kind service, 10/10 and then some 🥰

After long days of sightseeing, we loved relaxing on the balcony. It was quiet and pleasant, with battlefields and restaurants close by and souvenir shops right across the street. Our room was spotless, and the beds and pillows were sooo comfortable. The free breakfast was top notch, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return.

The breakfast was pretty good, especially the real eggs rather than powdered ones. We also liked that dogs were allowed. Downtown was an easy walk, which mattered a lot to us. It's an older hotel that's been renovated nicely; the rooms still feel a little old, but that suits Gettysburg in a way. We'd stay here again if we return.

A respectful, pleasant atmosphere, and the rooms were clean and kept up. The battlefield and many attractions are close by, practically close enough to throw a rock. Great place, 👍
