The Hobbit hut and gingerbread house are neighbors on a fantastic property. It's mainly a quasi-spiritual retreat center, with outstanding stained glass throughout and several beautiful temple buildings dedicated to ancient Egyptian gods, mostly Isis. There are lots of spots to relax outdoors, plus a small animal rescue with tons of exotic birds, many reptiles, a couple of alpacas, some unruly chickens, goats, emus, and small exotic cats. What an amazing little place. Totally recommend!

The animals fascinated our kids, and everyone was so friendly, which really made the trip. We had such a wonderful vacation staying in the Gingerbread. It was beautiful, and the pool was the perfect temperature for beating the heat.
