I really liked this place, but it has been closed for many years, maybe permanently. I can't figure out how reviews from the past six years can be reviewing it. Maybe they host special events or weddings, but whenever I check to see if it's open, I can't find any way to stay there. It's disappointing that whoever bought the place doesn't seem to want to run it as a B&B.

The breakfasts were sumptuous, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The house is meticulously and beautifully appointed, with comfortable bedrooms and palatial bathrooms, while the living areas feel welcoming and practical. There's a handsome swimming pool, a peaceful gazebo and patio, and even a vineyard. It's steps from quaint downtown Geyserville and a short drive from wineries and towns of all sizes. A delightful stay.

For my 60th birthday, my daughter treated me to a stay here, and we were both impressed by the thoughtful room details and especially by the personal attention from owner Cosette. She served us delicious breakfasts both mornings, with everything you might want, then joined everyone at the table as we had coffee or tea. She shared useful information about the local community and culture, along with a free passport to local wineries. Cosette and her husband Ron are amateur winemakers and gave us a bottle of their own Merlot, which was delicious. I've never had someone take so much time to fill guests in on what's happening locally. My daughter and I would highly recommend staying here.

Cosette and Ron were incredibly attentive, and their knowledge of wine country gave us helpful directions for each day. They shared it with us every morning before we left the breakfast table. The four nights in their expertly renovated Victorian home felt warm and welcoming, and breakfast, with all the homemade goodies, was thoroughly enjoyable. It set me up for days of driving through the countryside and wine tasting. This was without question one of the best vacations I've had. Hope-Merrill House is the place to stay for access to the best the Russian River Valley has to offer. Go and enjoy!

The location couldn't be better. We could walk to several tasting rooms and two delicious little restaurants, and Diavola's pizza is a must. My boyfriend and I spent Valentine's Day weekend at this B&B, and I couldn't be happier with it. The house is over 100 years old, but it wasn't dusty or rundown at all. It's amazingly well kept, with an antique, traditional feel alongside modern amenities and cleanliness. They made the bed and left a little chocolate each day, which was lovely to come back to after walking and wine tasting. Breakfast was amazing both mornings, even for someone pretty picky like me. The owner knows the area like the back of her hand and gave us winery recommendations. I don't have a single negative thing to say; staying anywhere else in Geyserville would be silly.
