Lakeside Motor Inn

The staff are really friendly and helpful, but the room itself is average. Highway traffic is loud enough to keep you awake, so I wouldn’t suggest it for light sleepers.

I was passing through for one night and was glad I found this inn. The room was bigger than I expected, and the dining table gave me enough space to work on my laptop and spread out my things. Everything was tidy and clean, and it looks like the rooms have been refreshed recently, with a nice result. Check-in staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay again if I come through this way.

It was peaceful around the Lakeside Motor Inn, but still convenient for getting into town. The room was clean, well kept, and had what I needed. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and made sure I was comfortable. I appreciated how neat the property was and the friendly service. Management seems to take good care of the place and its guests. It’s good value, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Gladstone.

For $90 plus fees on a busy weekend, this was a solid deal when nicer places in town cost over $200. Room 205 was clean enough to feel comfortable, with just a little dust here and there. The carpet wasn’t sticky or gross, the bed was fine though the pillows were mediocre, the AC worked well, water pressure was good, and extra blankets were already there. There was a mild smell in the room, but it didn’t bother me; the hallway was mustier. The sink water had a slight smell too, though I didn’t notice one in the shower. Furniture was dated, the lighting a bit dim but still okay, and the shower small. The TV didn’t work, maybe they could’ve fixed it. I was glad I stayed and would come back.
