The house’s history has been preserved so well, and it made for the special kind of stay we were hoping for. Breakfast was excellent each day. There’s a lot to do in town, from quaint restaurants and flea markets to a museum worth visiting. We recommend Hall Place.

Hall Place is a 172-year-old house, and its character is part of what makes staying there special. It’s centrally located, close to downtown and within walking distance of Main Street. We loved having coffee on the porch. Sharla puts out a wonderful breakfast spread every morning, so if you leave hungry, that’s on you. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Glasgow. Thanks, Sharla, for making it memorable!

The room had its own attached bathroom, the place was clean, communication was great, and the AC handled 100-degree heat. But the whole property is charming, from its downtown location and landscaping to the historic house, carefully decorated throughout. The hosts and other guests were wonderful, and their stories made it feel like a storybook snapshot. Get up for breakfast.

We didn’t stay overnight at Hall Place. I work with nearby Hidden River Cave, and a former Board of Directors family was visiting Kentucky. We were referred to Hall Place as a nice place to gather for dinner. Sharla helped us plan meals that worked for everyone, and she and her staff were gracious hosts. Dinner was delicious, and everyone felt comfortable reminiscing and enjoying each other’s company. Keep Hall Place in mind for a B&B or a beautiful, atmospheric place to host a gathering.

The food was the best I’ve had at a bed and breakfast. Ms. Sharla is a wonderful cook, and the place is beautiful. She was such a joy to spend time with, warm and friendly, and I felt like I was visiting family. Hall place feels cozy and comfortable, with lovely attention to detail. There are beautiful things around, but the rooms never feel cluttered.
