Sakura Inn

I was pleasantly surprised by sakura inn. The rooms had recently been updated and looked beautiful, and the king bed and pillows were great. It was a convenient location for me, too. The gates are locked at midnight, so my car felt safe. I’d stay here again.

Getting around the neighborhood was easy, and the location was super convenient. It’s a long drive from LAX, but a reasonable distance from Griffith Park, Burbank, Studio City, Pasadena, and downtown. The rooms were nice and surprisingly spacious, with an updated bathroom. The desk staff were friendly, though I’m not sure they speak much English. I just wish things looked a bit cleaner. The parking lot, hallways, outside walls, and floors could use some TLC, and some towels didn’t seem very fresh. It wasn’t the nicest place we’ve stayed, but it was convenient and affordable, and as tourists we never felt unsafe.

That glass walk-in shower was a great touch. The Sakura Inn also made the practical stuff easy: the gated lot is secure, and your room key opens the gate after 11 PM. I liked the price, the discount for extra days, and the fact that there weren’t add-ons like breakfast driving up the bill. The rooms were clean and the hotel was well run. Glendale is quiet, with plenty of places to eat nearby. I’d book a multi-day stay here again.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the parking felt secure. The rooms have been updated and were clean, even though the motel itself is older. It was in a convenient central spot for my trip and a very good value for the area.
