Spark by Hilton Glendive

The owners haven't responded, and I ended up contacting @Hilton, the local Health department, the Dawson County Sheriff Department, my credit card company, and an attorney to file. After we got home and saw a charge for over $5,000, we called several times before an employee finally said they claimed we'd caused water damage. They told us there was nothing they could do and that the owners had told them to run my card. Nobody contacted us or told us about the charge, even though we were still staying there for three more days. This is a complete scam, in my view. We'd first been checked into a room where the TV and toilet didn't work. An employee came up, couldn't fix either one, and moved us to another room. That room was in the same condition when he checked us out of the original one as it had been when we arrived. DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff scammed us and charged my card thousands.

The front desk representative made our stay feel positive and welcoming. She was exceptionally pleasant and professional when we checked in just before midnight, and again in the morning. The hotel itself was good, but her service really stood out. I had a great stay here October 6th.

I stay in hotels nine months out of the year, and other places have canceled reservations for me without a problem. I had an emergency and had to leave Glendive, but the manager decided not to cancel mine. We won't stay here again. The hotel cares about taking your money, not its guests, and I'm sure the manager will come on here talking about policy, blah blah blah. They also claim to have ethernet ports, but they don't work. As other bad reviews show, they've got things to figure out. STAY AT THE LA QUINTA across the interstate. WAY BETTER.

The beds were clean and comfortable, but there was no conditioner in the shower. The hot tub and pool weren't working. Breakfast was basic, with hard-boiled eggs as the only egg option. If you're a diamond member whose benefit says you get a snack, don't count on it. They said they don't do that. Pets aren't allowed on the grass around the hotel except in one tiny area at the back.
