Best Western Glenpool/Tulsa

I can't comment on the rooms since I never got to stay. I booked in advance at a reasonable rate under the book-now, pay-on-arrival option. Three days before the reservation, they tried to charge me without telling me first. When the charge didn't go through, they cancelled my booking and said they were sold out. It seemed like they wanted to sell the room to someone booking at the last minute for more. They shouldn't offer pay-later rates if they're going to charge in advance. They didn't call to try to keep the reservation, just cancelled it and emailed me.

I won't stay here again. The carpet was so filthy that my feet turned dark just minutes after I got out of the shower. The room smelled bad, like people had smoked despite the no-smoking rule. The place felt shady, and there was a connecting door to another room in ours. They should return the deposit as soon as you check out, even when you've paid by credit card. If they can take the payment right away, they can return it right away. There's no excuse for making people wait up to two weeks. They want their fee immediately, and we want our money back immediately. That's only fair.

They left my kids out in the cold, even though I called and tried everything I could, including putting down a 1000 deposit so they'd have somewhere to stay. If you're old enough to defend this country, you deserve respect and basic decency. Absolutely not.

Jennifer was a delight to talk with and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were very nice, too. We had a great stay and can't wait to try breakfast in the morning. We'll definitely come back.
