The bathtub and shower were disgusting, and the bathroom sink's Formica had a large crack. The microwave was dirty, the mirror was dirty, and the carpet was stained. Of the two double beds, one sagged so badly it was impossible to sleep on. There was no phone in the room and the Wi-Fi didn't work. The ad claimed everything was newly remodeled. This is the worst motel I've stayed in.

The rooms are comfortable, and the rates are the best around. Our room was really cute and clean, too. The woman who checked us in was so nice. When we walked into the office, a man called out that he was on his way, then she came in and helped us with a smile. Thanks to the owners for being so hospitable.

7.27.2016. After a 14-hour drive, we arrived to find the AC wasn't working and the room was 98 degrees. Punjab told us it would cool down in an hour, but it was still hot three hours later. We had to argue and threaten to call a lawyer before they moved us. Those three hours in the sweltering room were miserable. They should be ashamed. Ask for ice and you get a blob of frozen-together stuff in a bag. They seem too cheap to fix the ice maker. Saving a few bucks wasn't worth this aggravation. Steer clear.

The room still looked untouched after it was supposedly cleaned. Not a surface had been wiped, the sink and toilet were still dirty, the floor hadn't been swept or vacuumed, and the towels were taken away without replacements. None of the things I'd asked for had been done, and there was still no shower curtain. These are the pictures I took after that cleaning, and they show how disgusting it was. They have roaches too. I got there after midnight, shocked by the room's condition. My ex-husband was working in the area for a week and his job had placed him at this dump. Since it was near Edisto Beach, I went there to see both. The next morning I asked for a different room, but the manager/owner said there weren't any. She claimed they were full on a Tuesday, even though there were no cars in front of the other rooms. I then asked her to at least clean the room thoroughly and pointed out what needed attention. I also asked for a shower curtain so the water wouldn't run onto the floor. She said, "if they have one! We are not a hotel chain. We are privately owned, and we don't have to go by chain standards!" I couldn't believe she'd say that. Her arrogant, inhumane attitude made me furious and sick to my stomach. I left for most of the day hoping the room would be cleaned when I got back, but it wasn't. I wish I had time to post these pictures everywhere every day until they changed or closed. Do not stay here!
