Hotel Glenwood Springs

The location made it easy to walk just about everywhere, and the hot springs discount was a nice extra. Everyone working at Hotel Glenwood was welcoming and very kind throughout our visit. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. I had a great stay and would happily return. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I was so disappointed. After planning a weekend away for my partner and me, I chose this supposedly nicer hotel based on the lovely online photos and mostly positive reviews. It cost a lot, but I thought it would be worth it. We arrived at 4 p.m. to a nearly empty, bare room with no charm or effort put into it. There wasn't even a comforter on the bed, and there were only a few half-size pillows, not enough to cover the display headboard. We left around 7 p.m. and drove the four hours home. The staff were friendly, but didn't seem surprised, and didn't try to help. I feel bad. Maybe the advertising should be more accurate, or the price lower, so people don't expect so much. I can't believe I spent all that money on this. I also haven't heard back from anyone after raising my concerns.

The price is good for this hotel, and the kids love the indoor water park. It's pet-friendly too, and the staff are always nice and accommodating. I'd highly recommend bringing your kids here. Happy travels!

We paid $621 for two nights because I thought the hotel would be nice for my kids. It was old, smelled moldy, and had a horrible breakfast. The waterslide still wasn't working, and based on the reviews it seems to have been that way for months. On New Year's Day we took the kids to the hot springs. When we got back to shower and get ready for our dinner reservation, there was no hot water. I wasn't going to take them to a nice restaurant without bathing, so we lost the reservation. I'm very disappointed and will never return. Expedia emailed the manager after I called, but they refused a refund. Don't waste your money. This place is zero stars to me.
