I was there for one night, and the stay itself was good. But pet owners should know that they keep half the security deposit if they find dog hair on the bedding, even when you've booked and paid the extra dog fee. Nobody told me about this at check-in. I expect a defensive reply, and that's fine. I just want other people with dogs to know what to expect.

The place was spotless, and the room looked freshly remodeled and really nice. The gentleman at the front desk was polite and very friendly.

Belle-Aire Motel turned out to be a clean, comfortable room at a fair price, and it looked like the hardworking couple running it would benefit from our stay instead of a big corporation. We were road-tripping and had stopped in town for the night, so we compared reviews. A lot of Globe hotels had pretty bad ones. Holiday Inn looked rough in customer photos despite decent reviews, while Best Western had the strongest reviews but wanted over $200 a night for what seemed like a $100 room. One thing to know: there's no coffee there. A basic little coffee maker in the room would've been nice.

For what it cost, I can't complain too much, but the place had a few problems. Two lights and the heater were out, the toilet rocked, and the single-pane windows let in every sound. We even heard a couple next door getting caught cheating.

Really nice room, and I liked the modern decor. The shower was great too.
