Travelodge by Wyndham Globe AZ

I come to AZ every year, and this was my first stay at this property. The rooms are private, the building and rooms were very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. They have good breakfast, great service, and laundry that's open all night. I'd happily recommend it and stay again.

The rooms were clean, check-in and check-out went smoothly, and the water was hot. The place has had a real update: fresh paint, new floors, and new bathroom fixtures. Breakfast has improved too. It used to be just a few pieces of fruit and muffins on the counter, but now there's a full continental breakfast.

Parking was decent if you had a large truck, but the stay itself was disappointing. My room was dirty, and the sheets were stained or unclean. The breakfast was a complete joke. The hot water wasn't hot, the bathroom light didn't work, and the staff weren't especially helpful.

I've worked on the road about 80% of the year and usually stay wherever my company books me. More than a year ago, this hotel was a no-go for the crews, so we moved elsewhere. Coming back today, I was shocked by the change. It's one of the best Travel Lodge makeovers I've seen. It's still a Travel Lodge, so expect a middle-of-the-road experience, but it's a huge improvement from my last visit. To the owners, well done. If you're after somewhere comfortable and clean that won't break the bank, I recommend it.
