Best Western Gold Canyon Inn & Suites

There’s a pleasant patio outside the rooms, and the breakfast was better than average. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place looked clean, even in the hallways. I’d stay again. One small suggestion: add a mat to the walk-in shower, since it’s really slippery, especially if you have mobility issues.

Loved the design and layout, such a cute hotel. Naty at the front desk was amazing and helped us out. We’ll definitely come back.

I never actually stayed here. I tried several times to reach the manager or director of sales about an extended stay. First I left a voicemail and heard nothing. When I called again, the receptionist said she’d pass on a message and that I’d get a call by the end of the week. That never happened either. I tried at least five more times over two days, still without getting through, so I’m moving on. After seeing the management response question whether I had called the right number, I want to say I’m sure I did each time. Something seems seriously wrong here. Trying to make a customer doubt what happened feels like gaslighting. Looking at other reviews, there seems to be a pattern, which doesn’t surprise me.

I’ve been staying here for work for over a year, sometimes two to four nights a week and sometimes seven to ten days in a row. The rooms are clean and the staff are good. I work nights, and at other hotels I’ve had cleaners bang on the door and try to rush me out. That’s never happened here. I’ve also dealt with bed bugs in Vegas years ago and seem to be allergic to the bites. I’ve never seen or had anything like that here, so I hope that other reviewer took his little bug back home. Some of the one star reviews are laughable, especially when people seem to give everything one star. I’d like to see what they’d say about themselves.
