Budget Host Travel Inn (fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Denver Downtown)

The staff were unbelievably kind, including the kitchen team, and breakfast was better than most we've had. Jen at the front desk was especially thoughtful when we needed to change rooms. First the ice maker was a problem, then a family of Clydesdales moved in upstairs and kept us awake until 4 a.m. She let me check out a quieter room on the top floor before we decided to pack and move. The building has been recently renovated, everything felt clean, and the beds were new and comfortable. This was probably one of our best stays at a Marriott. There was always free street parking right outside, so we skipped the $45 daily garage fee.

The overnight parking costs a lot unless you can find a street spot. The lobby is on the second floor, so you need to ride up from the parking garage. The hotel itself is clean, modern, spacious, and accessible. It has a pool and exercise room, and the staff were helpful and friendly. When we had a room issue, the front desk agent moved us to another one.

We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The May 2025 renovation made everything feel fresh and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and smelled nice. The TV worked, and there's a great view of downtown Denver from the room, breakfast bar, and pool. The neighborhood seems to be on the way up, with restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. The exercise facility could be better; I didn't get to use the pool, but it looked a bit small. Street parking was plentiful, even on weekends, in this quiet residential area, so we didn't need to use the garage or pay to park. Some other reviewers made a fuss about the parking charge, but I found street parking easy. I'd highly recommend the hotel for a Denver visit.

We left the awful Residence Inn across the way and had a wonderful stay here. The lobby smelled great and was sparkling clean as soon as we walked in. Fabian checked us in and was friendly and helpful. He gave us a top-floor room with a gorgeous nighttime city view, which was very kind of him. The rooms were great and everything felt nice and clean in this fairly new hotel. Breakfast was very good, and the dining area was kept tidy. It's close to the highway and an easy ride to the city center. I'd recommend it for a stay in Denver.
