This was our first stay at a Quality Inn, and we really enjoyed it. Mr. Scott was patient and a joy to work with when one of my rooms wasn’t accounted for at check in. Ms. Penelope was so sweet at breakfast, and the food was good with a clean dining area. The other staff members, whose names I didn’t get, were wonderful at checkout. We’ll definitely come back if we’re in Goose Creek.

Do not recommend at all. The hotel was infested with roaches. After I complained about my room, they showed me four different rooms, and every one had roaches. One was crawling on a pillow, and another was on a curtain in a different room.

Kaylnn was amazing. I had some issues with my room when I arrived, and she helped sort things out so the stay could be peaceful. The transaction was smooth. Thank you!

Don’t book here. The photos are old and don’t show the motel’s real condition. The covered drive through is missing, and the lobby is in disrepair. In the room, the furniture was old and beat up, the door closer was ripped off and hanging, and there was a big dent in the wall beside the bed. Rust was showing through the bottom of the lampshade, and black paint was peeling off the refrigerator. This is a choice hotels. Ask to see the rooms in person before booking, then run!

After a 12 hour drive, I arrived around 2 a.m. or maybe quarter to 2, after passing what looked like a quiet Quality hotel. I called from a gas station a minute up the street. One gentleman answered first, and I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay the $107 he said included all the taxes, so I hung up. I was too tired, called again, and a very nice gentleman booked it for me. I live in Myrtle and am moving to Charleston, so I’m in town getting acclimated. I’m careful about spending on the road because I need to make a profit, not lose money, so I ask enough questions to understand the full cost. I asked more than once whether $107 was the final amount, or whether there’d be a surprise deposit at the desk. I’d be there less than nine hours, just sleeping, and wouldn’t even be up for breakfast, so I wanted to be sure I wasn’t paying too much for what I’d get. He assured me repeatedly that was it. He gave no sign he didn’t work for the company. When I looked him up to review him, his photo had the company letterhead, which I included with my email as proof he was under the Quality umbrella. At check in, a young woman, maybe Hispanic, Caucasian, or mixed, with long black hair pulled up, found my reservation easily. I’d booked by phone with Caleb. Then she quoted a price, I don’t know, around $130, $107 plus $25 I think. I was completely pissed off. I told her I’d asked the young man over and over, and she asked, “What man?” She said they’re a franchise and the person on the phone must have been a third party. I felt like she didn’t think I could tell whether I’d called a third party or remember using Super.com, Travelocity, Expedia, or similar. I told her no, it was a coworker from their call or sales center, whatever they call it, at the number I’d dialed. I pulled it up on my phone to prove it, and started feeling like I was being questioned and my story picked apart. There was no apology or “I’m sorry you heard that,” or even “tell me more.” It felt like I had to prove myself because she didn’t believe me, and I got more upset having to show her my phone. I showed her the number online for their location and said that was the number I called to reach him. I had several windows open and accidentally showed the La Quinta page, which I’d also looked at. She gave me a smug look, like she’d won something, saying they weren’t La Quinta. I said, “Oh wait, excuse me, I’m sorry,” and quickly found the window with Quality still open. Then she saw it too. “I don’t believe they work for us.” It made me feel she didn’t believe me and was going to cancel the reservation. I was so upset by the treatment, the interrogation, the disbelief. It was a lot. I finally handed over my card because I needed sleep before driving back to Myrtle Beach. As soon as I entered the room, it smelled musty. The comforter had huge stains, and there were five roaches in the bathroom. None of this experience was quality. Goose Creek was surprising. She stated Kim was the Gm.
