The room was modern and new, with no carpet and an open closet area. Even so, hallway and outdoor noise was surprisingly minimal. There were plenty of outlets, including in the bathroom, and the temperature stayed more consistent than in any hotel room I've used. It was clean and comfortable, and the location made it easy to get to shops and places to eat. Charis at the front desk was especially pleasant and kind, and both check-in and check-out were quick and friendly. Breakfast was good the morning I was there: western omelets, turkey sausage, redskin potatoes, bread choices, and make-your-own waffles in red velvet or vanilla with sprinkles and syrup. There was also oatmeal, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, juice, and coffee. Staff kept the food fresh and hot by replenishing it quickly. I'll stay here again next time I'm in the area.

The other guests were the low point for me. At breakfast, one man piled five egg omelettes onto his plate when there clearly wasn't enough for everyone, and another guest left her trash on the table even though a bin was only a few feet away. People can be selfish and entitled. The breakfast worker was handling everything on her own, hustling to keep up, and stayed extremely pleasant. As for the hotel, it was very clean, and the staff we came across were friendly and seemed to care whether we were satisfied. Breakfast itself was fine. The location is perfect for walking to Kitchen Kettle, and I'd stay again. I just hope for more considerate guests next time.

The room was clean, comfortable, and just what we needed after a stressful night, and the whole property was spotless and quiet. We arrived exhausted and frustrated after a terrible late-night experience at another hotel, but the male manager was kind, helpful, and accommodating as soon as we walked in. Even at that hour, they went out of their way to take care of us. The service made such a strong impression that we've already booked another stay for January. We had a genuinely enjoyable visit, and I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and the care it showed us. We'll absolutely be back.

We stayed at the Hampton in September for a sisters week with my sister, her husband, and his two sisters. We had a fantastic time. The rooms were great, and we loved having breakfast each morning and coffee all day. I especially want to recognize Shannon. She checked us in, and during our stay we saw her doing housekeeping, wiping down breakfast tables, sweeping the lobby, and even cleaning up a mess for us. She's a very hard worker, and also friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat. You don't often come across someone like her. She's an exceptional, all-around great employee.
