After driving three hours with no place to stay, I was panicking. Another hotel had canceled on me at the last minute, and I was in the area to visit the Woodbury Commons outlets. I needed somewhere clean and safe for the night. The team at this Fairfield location understood right away and offered me a good rate without any hassle. They couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating, and that customer service alone deserves five stars. My room was spotless, roomy, and comfortable, exactly what I needed after such a stressful day. It felt fresh and well maintained, so I could relax before my shopping trip the next morning. A near-disaster turned into a really pleasant stay. I'd happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting the Woodbury Commons area.

The hotel itself was fine, but parents should know how uncomfortable the pullout beds are. My son called the mattress the worst. It's only four inches thick, and he could feel the metal underneath, so we got extra towels and layered them on for cushioning. I'd expected better from a hotel next to Legoland. Also, ask for an even-numbered room. The odd-numbered ones face the highway, which is very close.

The location is great and the rooms are decent, but the service absolutely sucked. As a platinum member, I normally get upgrades. Even though rooms were available, they gave me some nonsense about a recent system upgrade and said an upgrade would mean I'd be charged again. Housekeeping is basic, but we didn't get it despite selecting that option. The operations manager said there were many checkouts and housekeeping couldn't get to occupied rooms. The bathtub was cracked, and when I asked, the ops manager casually said it was damaged. See picture. I've stayed in hotels for 30 years and been loyal to Marriott for 20. This was by far my worst experience, and I wish there were zero or even negative stars. Marriott customer service told me the manager would give me points when they arrived, but that never happened. I hope the owners read this and fire the staff, and that Marriott sees it and takes away the franchise.

It honestly felt like home. This was a pleasant place to stay in Goshen New York, with clean, well-maintained rooms and very accommodating staff. We checked in at 11 p.m. and had to leave at 4 a.m. They set bagels aside for us in the morning and made sure we were ready for the rest of our trip. That was very kind of them.

The employees are nice and down to earth. The front desk gave me a joke that made me laugh. The only little issues were the noise: sometimes I could hear people walking on the floor above, and I could hear cars passing on the highway. It's noticeable, but it doesn't bother me because I'm used to that kind of thing. All in all, I'll be back.
