The place was clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location. But our supposed “3 bedroom” condo only had two bedrooms, with uncomfortable bunk beds out in the hallway. That wasn’t the end of the world, but it made things difficult with young kids and two other families. Without the misleading room count, it would have been an easy five stars.

The heated pool, hot tub, and sauna were a big hit with our kids, and gave us all something to enjoy outdoors after skiing. I also appreciated the parking garage, and the property was well maintained throughout. We stayed at the Grand Lodges at Collins Lake resort in January 2025 and had a stellar experience. Our chalet was beautiful and well cared for, and the cleaning crew had done a great job before we arrived. Government Camp is so close, and the resort is very well run.

After a long day exploring Mt Hood, unwinding in the outdoor hot tub was the best part. We were also glad to get deals for Ski Bowl's attractions, which made for an awesome experience. The place is right at the entrance to Government camp and close to town. What an amazing spot!

We loved being able to walk around town for fun or get food and drinks at the local breweries. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were friendly. The homes are lovely and the amenities are great. A hot tub and sauna after a long day on the mountain are hard to beat. Can’t wait to come back!

We booked directly with the Collins Lake team, rather than through Airbnb, for a large group of townhouses tied to events we’re running in June and July. Dan at the front desk helped us find units that fit our needs, handled changes, and was always quick to respond with a solution for the group. Great communication and service. We’ll book with them again.
