Comfort Inn & Suites Toledo North

The pool was warm and wonderfully clean, and my kids had such a good time swimming. We also enjoyed breakfast, which was always hot and fresh. Belinda at the front desk was amazing, so kind and thoughtful, and made my family and me feel welcome. Heather, the GM, was just as kind and accommodating, going out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. We had a great stay at the comfort inn hotel in Toledo, Ohio. Thanks to everyone at the comfort inn, you were all wonderful!

My husband was never in the room, so there was no cleaning to be done. He ended up in the hospital, and we called to ask whether one bookbag could be removed. Instead, you charged another $50. He also wasn't told about a bookbag fee. That's shady and just bad business. People forget things all the time at hotels. Don't give them your information or credit card, cash only. I had to cancel my card to get this sorted out. There are several reviews with this same complaint, and while I'm calling, there's a customer in front of you with the exact same issue. Spend less time replying to reviews and lying, and answer the phone to deal with your customer service problems. You won't get return guests if you keep this reputation.

The room was clean and fine, breakfast was free, the waffles were fresh, and the coffee was good. But I went five days without room cleaning, fresh towels, or anything else. The bathroom mirror had a sign saying to call the front desk to arrange service, and that rooms on extended stays would be serviced after the third night. Housekeeping apparently didn't know about that policy. When I asked, they told me to call the front desk and arrange it myself. If the policy isn't going to be followed, they should take the signs off the mirrors. It's such a simple thing, and there are plenty of other good hotels around here.

Belinda at the check-in counter was really helpful, kind, and honest. Since it was our first visit, she treated us like regular clients, and I'll come back again. The Comfort Inn in Toledo, Ohio was clean and tidy, quiet and comfortable, and the prices were very affordable, especially for a room with a king bed, microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. There's free breakfast and a heated pool too. I had a great stay, really enjoyed my time here, and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Toledo.
